MYSENSability is proud to announce a working partnership with ABUK, a fantastic parent support group based in Wigan. In a recently conducted survey by MYSENSability and ABUK, most parents highlighted that they found the most support and advice from other parents and parent groups. This is why MYSENSability decided to partner with the most successful parent group in Wigan, which offers Parent Peer Support Groups and Special Educational Needs (SEN) sessions.
The facility features amazing amenities, including soft play areas and a sensory room, making it an ideal environment for families. The founder, Cordelia Singh, established the group after feeling very isolated during the diagnosis process with her son, Beaudon. She wanted a place where she could connect with other parents to get advice, support, and feel valued and heard.
ABUK has a welcoming, family-friendly atmosphere and will be a great asset to support SEND (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities) parents across the borough and community. By working in conjunction with MYSENSability and our holistic wrap-around approach, we aim to provide comprehensive support to all families involved.
