On behalf of myself and L****** we would just like to say a massive thank you for your support with ******** Honestly before your advice and support we felt like we where hitting a brick wall with regards to ********* and her ongoing issues at school. Since seeking your help we finally feel like we are now on the right track and slowly moving in the direction that we always wanted. School are now supporting ******** and seeking the support she needs. We now have her on the pathway for a potential diagnoses. Before you came into our lives we really didn't know what to do and ********* was deemed as just a child with poor behaviour. Just wanted to thank Gaynor from Mysensibility for all her help and support. We contacted Gaynor for some advice regarding our daughter ***** who is 14 years old. ***** has struggled with social anxiety and school avoidance from a young age, our concerns became more highlighted after ***** sadly took an overdose due to her struggles and was admitted to hospital in February. Gaynor went above and beyond to help not only to provide advice but to also support and guide us as a family. We had some concerns regarding ***** possibly being on the ASC pathway, Gaynor signposted us to groups and provided leaflets as well as ideas on emotional support products we could use as a family. Gaynor attended school meetings with us as family support which was very helpful as she has the knowledge and understanding of what support a school can put into place. We were also made aware of emotional based school avoidance. Gaynor supported us with the completion of a parental educational healthcare plan request, again something we were not aware of prior to our contact with gaynor. As parents we felt lost and very unsupported until discovering “MYSensibility”. As a family we can’t thank Gaynor enough and would recommend “MYSensibility” to any family needing advice and guidance.
We reached out to MAD with SenSability to provide our staff with basic staff send training and educate our staff ready for us to open our SEN sessions. The in-person training was extremely detailed, interactive and appropriate for our business. It was evident that the training package was personalised to our business model. All staff found the training useful and informative, and the staff felt that they had gained a significant amount of new understanding and knowledge for SEND which was evident when we had a team discussion after of what we had taken away from the training. As a company we have been able to implement lots of strategies and recommendations within our facilities that Gaynor and her team trained us on with great success within our SEND sessions. We have since had lots of feedback from SEND parents about the knowledge and approach our staff have shown during our SEND sessions and I truly believe this is down to MAD with SenSability. Overall, our experience with MAD has been phenomenal, Gaynor and her team are extremely passionate about SEN, and this shone through. Thankyou MAD, we don’t feel we would be where we are now on our SEND sessions without your training programme and consultation, which has been invaluable to our business, and I would highly recommend your services to other companies that want to be SEND inclusive just like us!
I found it to be very informative and interesting without it being overloading. There are plenty of things I took from the training that I will look to implement into my everyday at work, ways of communicating, signs to look out for etc. It was also quite a fun delivery of the training which stopped my attention from wandering as it can do over the course of several hours and Gaynor was great, clearly very passionate and enthusiastic.
We recently booked training with Gaynor to help our staff with delivering holiday courses. The holiday courses have children attending with a range of needs that may require additional support. I found the training to be really engaging, informative and thought provoking. The feedback from the staff that attended the training has been amazing. They have reported feeling more confident in delivering the holiday courses and had a much better understanding of different conditions that children with SEND may have. Gaynor was fantastic, her knowledge and passion on this topic are first class. She adapted the training to meet the needs of the learners and the service delivered. Gaynor has been really supportive and has provided us with some fantastic resources to use on our holiday courses. I would highly recommend booking training with Gaynor – thank you again.
I enjoyed the knowledge Gaynor has, she spoke so clearly and often asked if we understood , which gave us plenty of opportunity to ask questions .I enjoyed the interactive games it gave me a better overall approach when dealing with SEN children , it was informative and the information was nicely presented in an interesting way. I found the topic around girls and masking really interesting to learn and understand when coaching a girls football team.
